What we do
Telco bill audit and advocacy. We read it, make the case, you keep the saving.
Free audit through refund and a better plan. One advocate, working for you, paid only from what we save.
The service, in full
Start with the free audit. Take it as far as makes sense, we'll tell you straight where the value is.
Free bill audit
We go line by line through your invoices and contract, flag every charge that doesn't add up, ghost services, wrong rates, double charges, add-ons you never asked for, and put a real figure on the saving before you decide anything.
Dispute & advocacy
We deal with the telco for you, raise the formal dispute, do the back-and-forth with billing and chase the credit. With your authority, we speak to them on your behalf so you never sit on hold.
Contract review
Lock-in, exit fees, what's actually included versus what's "unlimited but shaped", we translate the fine print into plain English so you know where you stand and what leaving really costs.
Find a better deal
Vendor-neutral comparison against your real usage, not a carrier's pitch. Mobile fleets, NBN, business internet and phone systems. If renegotiating your current deal beats switching, we'll say so.
Ongoing bill-watch
Savings don't stay put, a promo ends, an old charge creeps back, a plan quietly changes. We keep an eye on the bills each cycle and flag the drift before it costs you.
What the audit looks for
The same handful of leaks turns up on bill after bill. These are the ones we hunt down first.
Ghost services
Lines, SIMs and add-ons billed long after they were cancelled or stopped being used. The single biggest source of quiet waste we see.
Wrong rates & old plans
Out-of-contract pricing, expired promos, and rates you'd never be offered as a new customer today, still ticking over every month.
Charges that contradict the plan
Data or call charges on an "unlimited" or "included" plan, equipment you've already paid off, fees for things the contract says are free.
Bill shock & overage
Excess-usage spikes that a better-fitted plan would have absorbed, and that a credit or plan change can often soften after the fact.
How a dispute runs
You stay out of it. We keep a clear record of every step so the outcome is provable.
We confirm the case
The audit pins down exactly what's wrong and what you're owed, services, dates, dollar amounts, so the dispute is built on facts, not a vibe.
We raise it & escalate
Formal dispute lodged, billing team worked, refund or credit chased. If they stall past a reasonable time, we escalate to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman.
We lock in the fix
Once it's resolved, we make sure the corrected plan and credits actually land on the next bill, and keep watching so they don't quietly reverse.
Who we help
Small & medium business
Mobile fleets, multiple sites and a stack of invoices no one has time to reconcile, exactly where ghost services and old rates hide best.
Sole traders & startups
You're the accounts department too. We take the bill off your desk and make sure you're not subsidising the telco's filing errors.
Households & families
A confusing bundle, an overcharge you can't get fixed, a contract you didn't fully understand. We sort it without you giving up an afternoon to hold music.
Anyone mid-dispute
Already going round in circles with your telco? Hand us the thread. We pick it up, push it through, and escalate if it needs it.
Independent, and we mean it
We don't sell plans, we don't resell anyone's network, and no carrier pays us a margin. Telco Help is backed by Alien IT Solutions, 18 years across telco, networks and IT. When the fix is technical—a clean NBN cutover, a phone-system move—the same people carry it through. Licensed electrical and cabling work is subcontracted to the right trade.
Questions people ask
How much does the bill audit cost?
The audit is free. If we find savings and you decide to go ahead, we take an agreed share of what we actually save you, there's no upfront fee, and the share is agreed in writing before any work starts.
Can you get a refund for past telco overcharges?
Often, yes. If you've been billed for services you didn't receive or charged more than your contract allows, you're entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law. We raise the formal dispute, chase the credit or refund, and escalate to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman if the telco doesn't resolve it.
Are you a telco or a reseller?
No. Telco Help is an independent advocate. We don't sell plans and take no commission from any carrier, so our advice isn't steered by who pays us a margin.
Do I have to switch providers to save money?
Not necessarily. Sometimes the best result is renegotiating your existing deal and clearing the billing errors, with no migration or downtime. We tell you honestly whether staying or switching comes out ahead.
What do you need from me to start?
One or two recent bills are enough to run the audit. If we take it further we obtain your written authority to deal with the telco on your behalf, so you can stay out of the phone queue entirely.
