Telco Help

Independent telco bill advocacy · Australia-wide

Telco bill audit & advocacy. Stop overpaying, we deal with them for you.

Send us your last bill. We find what you're being overcharged for, dispute it with the telco on your behalf and chase the refund, then move you onto a plan that actually fits. You stay off hold; we do the arguing.

Independent, we're not a telco and we don't resell anyone's plans. The audit is free; if we save you money, we take a share of the saving, not an upfront fee.

Why your bill is higher than it should be

It's rarely one big mistake. It's a stack of small ones that nobody on the telco's side has any reason to fix.

! Paying for services you don't use

Ghost services, a SIM, a line or an add-on that was switched off years ago but is still on the bill. They're easy to miss and they add up every single month.

! Billing errors nobody owns

An overcharge appears, you ring up, you're transferred three times, and the next bill is wrong again. The error is real; getting someone to actually fix it is the hard part.

! Hours on hold to get nowhere

A simple dispute eats an afternoon, repeating yourself to each new person, with no record of what the last one promised.

! Locked into a contract you can't read

Lock-in terms, exit fees and "included" allowances written to be confusing, so you stay put, out of contract, paying a rate you'd never agree to today.

Watch an audit run

This is what we do to a bill.

Scroll and watch a real business account get read line by line: overcharges flagged, dead services cut, and the total drop.

Step 1 · Read it

We read the bill they wrote to confuse you.

Every line, against your contract and your actual usage. A typical business account: a mobile fleet, NBN, a phone system. $1,840 a month, and most owners couldn't tell you what half of it is for.

Step 2 · Flag it

The overcharges light up.

Three SIMs with no usage in nine months. A data charge on a plan that's meant to be unlimited. Add-ons for kit you've already paid off. Quiet waste that nobody had a reason to question.

Step 3 · Build the case

We mark it up, with proof.

Services, dates, dollar amounts. We pin down exactly what's wrong and what you're owed, so the dispute is built on facts the telco can't wave away, not a vibe.

Step 4 · Cut it

The dead weight comes off.

We cut the ghost services, kill the wrong charges and move you off the old rate. The same account, doing the same job, drops from $1,840 to $1,140 a month.

The result

You keep $700 a month.

Plus the refund where past overcharges are owed, chased on your behalf. That's $8,400 a year back in the business, off one bill, while you stayed out of the phone queue entirely.

One advocate, on your side, not the telco's

We don't sell plans and we don't take a cut from any carrier. We read the bill the way they wrote it, then make the case you don't have the hours to make.

Free bill audit

Line by line through your invoices and contract. We flag every charge that doesn't add up and put a real number on what you could be saving, before you commit to anything.

We dispute it for you

We raise the formal dispute, deal with the telco's billing team and chase the credit or refund. You're entitled to one under Australian Consumer Law when you've been billed for services you didn't get, we make them honour it.

Contract review

We translate the fine print, lock-in, exit fees, what's actually included, so you know exactly where you stand and whether it's cheaper to renegotiate or walk.

Find a better deal

Because we're vendor-neutral, we compare what's actually out there for your usage, not whatever one carrier wants to push. Mobile fleets, NBN, business internet and phones.

Ongoing bill-watch

Plans creep, allowances change, the old charge sneaks back. We keep watching the bills each cycle and flag it the moment it drifts, so the saving sticks.

NBN & phones, managed

If your phones and internet are the mess, we'll sort the move, design it, get it installed and keep it supported. Licensed cabling work is subcontracted to the right trade.

What it looks like before and after

Most of the saving isn't a single dramatic find, it's trimming the quiet waste and getting you off an old rate. Here's a typical business mobile-and-internet account through an audit.

We keep a clear record of every charge we challenge and every credit we win back, so you can see exactly where the money went, and prove it if you ever need to.

How it works

Send us a bill

One recent invoice is enough to start. We do the free audit, line by line, and tell you straight what you're overpaying and whether there's a case worth chasing.

We take it to the telco

We raise the dispute, do the back-and-forth, and chase the refund or credit. We move you onto a better plan and drop what you don't use. You approve; we handle it.

You keep the saving

Lower bills, the refund where it's owed, and a clear record of it all. We keep watching each cycle so the old charges don't quietly creep back.

This isn't a niche problem, it's the norm

Telco overbilling is systemic in Australia. The regulator (ACMA) forced Telstra into a $21 million refund after it billed more than 6,500 customers, mostly small businesses, for inactive services over an eleven-year stretch. The Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman took more than 56,000 complaints in 2023, 24, and service-and-equipment fees were behind roughly a third of them. If your bill feels wrong, you're not imagining it.

Where this comes from

The primary sources behind the above, so you can check any of it yourself rather than take our word for it:

Questions people ask

Are you a telco or a reseller?

No. We're an independent advocate. We don't sell plans and we don't take a commission from any carrier, so our advice isn't steered by who pays us a margin. The only person we answer to is you.

What does it cost?

The audit is free. If we find savings and you go ahead, we take a share of what we actually save you, so it costs you nothing up front and we only do well if you do. We'll agree the share in writing before any work starts.

Can you really get a refund for past overcharges?

Often, yes. If you've been billed for services you didn't receive or charged more than your contract allows, you're entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law. We raise the formal dispute and chase the credit or refund, and escalate to the TIO if the telco drags its feet.

Do I have to switch providers?

Only if it's genuinely better for you. Sometimes the win is renegotiating your current deal and clearing the errors, no migration, no downtime. We'll tell you honestly which way comes out ahead.

What do you need from me to start?

One recent bill, ideally a couple. That's enough to run the audit. If we take it further we'll get your authority to speak to the telco on your behalf, so you can stay out of the phone queue entirely.

Send us the bill. We'll find the savings.

A free, no-obligation audit of what you're actually paying, and a real number on what you could keep. No hold music, no jargon, no pressure.
